- Infrared Microphone:
This is a model of the wireless microphone with speakers with models 600N, 500U, 850N, 1000N … Currently this microphone product Dalton has replaced with more modern UHF New lines. However, if you still own this pair of microphones, you can refer to the article to connect when needed.
- Step 1: You power on the speaker and turn on the microphone
- Step 2: Next, you will open the tail of the microphone, you will see 2 small black buttons (set up), we will press and hold the small black button at the bottom (hold for 3 seconds). Until the Led screen shows the word SET
- Step 3: After the micro screen shows the SET button, we put the microphone next to the led screen of the speaker. This is where it receives infrared waves from the microphone. You stick and hold for about 3 seconds, the connection is successful.
Note: Infrared microphones can only connect to speakers with antennas
(600N,500U,850N,1000N….) speakers that do not have antennas on the back will not support connection to infrared microphones.
- Micro UHF New :
This is the next generation microphone of the infrared microphone. On the outside, these two microphones are quite similar. So we need to determine which is the infrared microphone and which is the UHF New microphone, then we can proceed with the connection. And the difference is as follows:
The infrared microphone is greyish-yellow in color, and when the microphone’s tail is opened, the infrared microphone has two set up buttons, while the UHF New microphone is copper-gold, and has only one set up button.
And after we have identified the UHF New microphone, we connect to the speaker as follows:
- Step 1: Power off the speaker and power off the microphone
- Step 2: Hold down the SET button while simultaneously powering up the microphone. At this time, the microphone LCD screen will blink continuously, then release the set button.
- Step 3: Point the microphone at the speaker pull, power the speaker pull, and then press the set button on the microphone again, successfully connected, the LCD screen on the microphone will standstill, and the speaker will emit a successful connection signal.

- NEW UHF microphone
