For those who often use karaoke speakers, the microphone is probably an important and indispensable item for the speaker. And wireless microphones are often the first choice of consumers, due to their convenience. However, not everyone knows how to connect them to the speaker quickly and easily.

With microphones equipped with wires, you just need to plug the wire connector into the appropriate jack on the speaker to use. But for wireless microphones, it is not so simple. How to connect a wireless microphone to a Dalton speaker? Let’s find out together in the article below

How to connect a wireless microphone to a speaker

Currently on the market. Dalton has 3 lines of microphones that come with the speaker. And the connection method of each line is also different.

1. Infrared microphone:
  • This is a wireless microphone model that comes with speakers with models 600N, 500U, 850N, 1000N… Currently, Dalton has replaced this microphone product with more modern UHF New lines. However, if you still own this pair of microphones, you can refer to the article to connect when needed.

Step 1: You turn on the speaker power and turn on the microphone power
Step 2: Next, you will open the tail of the microphone, you will see 2 small black buttons (set up), then we will hold down the small black button at the bottom (hold down for 3 seconds). Until the Led screen shows the word SET
Step 3: After the microphone screen shows the SET button, we put the microphone next to the speaker’s LED screen. This is where infrared waves from the microphone are received. You put it and hold it for about 3 seconds to successfully connect.

Note: Infrared microphone can only be connected to speakers with antennas (600N, 500U, 850N, 1000N….)

Speakers without antennas on the back will not support connection to infrared microphones.

  1. Micro UHF New :
This is a later generation of the infrared microphone. In terms of appearance, these two microphones are quite similar. Therefore, we need to determine which is the infrared microphone and which is the UHF New microphone, then we can proceed with the connection. And the way to distinguish is as follows:

The infrared microphone is gray-yellow, and when the tail of the microphone is opened, the infrared microphone has 2 set up buttons. The UHF New microphone is copper-yellow, and has only 1 set up button

And after identifying the UHF New microphone, we connect to the speaker as follows:

Step 1: Turn off the speaker and turn off the microphone
Step 2: Hold down the SET button and turn on the microphone power at the same time. At this time, the microphone’s LCD screen will flash continuously, then you release the set button. Step 3: Point the microphone at the speaker, turn on the power for the speaker, then press the set button on the microphone once more, the connection is successful, the LCD screen on the microphone will stand still, at the same time the speaker will emit a successful connection signal
